This is awesome.  Our tech dept. at work sent around an email today saying that 10% of the annual phone bill for the school where I work is from calls to 411.  The head of our tech dept. urged people to check online for phone numbers or use this phone number which is a free info number AND it will connect you automatically - for free.  This is especially great for cell phones - I know that DH and I  have at least $7 or $8 a month in calls to 411.  I tried it tonight on my way home from work in the car and it works!  Cool!

you know, the lady that sits next to me calls 411 all the time....there is also 411.com. I use that instead of calling 411. It's easier and saves money!  An 800 number for it is great though, especially when you're not near a computer!! Thanks for the tip!

Yes, I love goog 411!!

 You can also call 1-800-FREE-411 and that works as well.

Cool.  You can also send a text to 466459 ("Google") and get a text back.  I do that a lot for restaurant phone numbers.  You can also get directions if you are lost.
