who felt the earthquake

I always seem to miss them... or maybe they wake me up and I just don't realize that is waking me up. I woke up about 2 minutes after it struck so i didn't get the experience the rattling.

I REALLY felt it - but I'm actually spending the week in St. Louis, MO, visiting my family and letting my girls get some grandparents time.  So I woke up at 4:36 this morning to my bed shaking and the shutters rattling!  It was pretty weird.  My girls slept through the whole thing.

I did!!  I actually fell asleep on the couch last night and my dog was laying beside me, and I felt the couch moving, not shaking, and I felt my dog and she was not moving, but then she got up and started whinning, I am the only person in my family that felt it.  It was not bad just a little shake.  I was shocked when they said the epicenter was in Illinois (i think) and I felt it in East TN, I must close to a fault line.

Hmm, maybe that's why Mickey woke up in the middle of the night.  I just thought she needed to go outside.

Not me.  I never feel them either.  One hit in Erie when I was in college and I was walking down the street and didn't notice.  Talk about zoned out.

We slept through the whole thing.  Given the number of times I'm up during the night to pee, I'm surprised!  My dogs didn't react either, or if they did, not enough to wake me up.

Yup, it looks like Mickey woke up because of the earthquake, not the intestinal issues.  I guess that makes sense, either way she's breathing hard, pacing and trying to get out attention.
