RANT: I'm on a diet and it sux

RAVE: I'm feeling a little less fat than I usually do already. It's Friday! It's Gorgeous out! I have a great Saturday planned - can't wait for this weekend to officially begin!

Which first...rant or rave---you have no idea what a morning I have had!!!

No sooner did I verbally commit to a new job w/ a competitor this week (as my job is being elimated due to a take-over), did word get back to the new parent company of my current co....They called from their 'home office' in North Carolina to tell our President  "we hear Lisa took a job with a competitor; have her removed by 9am today" tell her severance starts Monday, not May 1st.

So...

RANT: I'm annoyed I had no time to say goodbye to the people I know I won't see again...lots of great people in the front office, and back in the factory/plant.

RAVE: Start date at the new co isn't until 5/5 so now I've got 2 weeks of paid time off!! And 5 more weeks severance coming to me! Wo-hoo!

Oh, and I'll add a confession to boot: I loved that I was the cause of such drama...I'm such a low key, steady-as-she goes, I think they were shocked that 'quiet Lisa" found a job so quickly in our industry with the "enemy"/competition....I wish I was a fly on the wall in the NC office!

Rant: DH is away until Sunday and I'm bored and lonely

Rave: I have a possible opportunity for a really great independent study project for next semester, and tomorrow I'm going shopping and getting a pedicure.

Rant:  DH got his sock stuck in our central vacum and now it's broke and I have to call and get it fixed, like I have nothing else to do with my day!

Rave:  It's beautiful out today, DH has the day off, and we are taking our family for a walk later.  Something to look forward to...

Rave: It's gorgeous out, DH is playing hooky from work and as soon as I'm done with my work we're going for a nice long walk with the dogs!

Rant: I have nothing today:)

Rant: I really have no rants except that I'm stuck at work and there are only 4 other people in the office today and it is GORGEOUS out!! Oh & I also didn't sleep last very well last night :-(

Rave: This baby's been very active the last few days and I'm so in love with all the little tiny taps & bumps! It is GORGEOUS outside and it's Friday!

RANT: My vacation is almost over - and I have a lot of work to get done for Monday morning.

 RAVE: This week has been so much fun with Hailey and Paul, gorgeous weather, and my spring cleaning is complete!!

RANT: I can't seem to motivate myself to get back into exercise. I keep setting my alarm in the morning and then hitting snooze!

RAVE: I only worked until noon today and its going to be a beautiful day. I'm picking Hannah up early and meeting some friends at the park for a playdate.
