Re: Who felt the earthquake?

  • I felt it, I woke up and thought the dog was scratching herself against our bed and shaking it so I was yelling at her to stop it! LOL
  • It was funny how many people on the news said they thought there was an intruder in their house when they woke up!

  • Me!  Me! We only live 100 miles from the epicenter here in Southern Illinois.

  • I felt it!.  I thought it was a train that went past which is right in our backyard.  The house shook and my nightstand was shaking which it normally doesn't do when a train goes by.  Then I realized there was no train and the bed was shaking too.  I thought well maybe the cat is scratching herself and no cat in sight.  Woke up to the news to see it was an earthquake.
  • we felt it.....i totally thought there was someone under the bed or something...it was swaying for a good 30 seconds...i was so confused.

  • I couldn't sleep this morning between 3:30 and 5. I guess the quake happened at 4:30, and I think I remember hearing our next-door neighbors banging around, as they are early risers (we live in an apartment). I guess it was an earthquake and not the neighbors, although I sure as heck couldn't tell the difference!
  • Oh man...we slept right through it!  I had no idea until I found out this morning!
  • My baby felt it because she woke up at exactly the time of the earthquake and started fussing because she realized she was hungry.  But I didn't know about it until this morning either.
