How can you tell the difference?? I have been a bit stuffy and have had a little cough but besides that I feel fine, it has just been lingering around way longer than an average cold....thoughts?? Thanks!
Re: Allergies vs. Cold??
to me- with Allergies I feel fine, just stuffy. I still have an appetite and energy.
With a cold, I just want to stay in bed until it goes away.
I was once told if you were stuffy and blew your nose and nothing came out, that was allergies. If you were stuffy and blew your nose and stuff came out, that was a cold (your body was draining "junk" not just producing congestion).
Have you tried to take benedryl or something for allergies to see if it stops the symptoms for a bit?
A cold is like a contraction - it comes on, hits a peak, fades away. Allergies are more baseline (for me).
