WWYD? Anthony just kicked me...

full force in the stomach. (all over a diaper change!).

So hard I doubled over.  It felt like a punch.  I know the little one is well protected in there, and he's been kicking up a storm since it happened, so I'm sure he's fine.

But, I would love to hear from someone other than myself that it's ok.

Would you  call the Dr or just monitor how the baby is acting in there and go from there?  I feel like "that woman" after calling last week for the back issue and them not finding anything.   They are gonna think I'm crazy.

Re: WWYD? Anthony just kicked me...

  • I would probably just wait and see how I was feeling for the next hour or so but it is never a bad idea to call just to be safe!! They won't think you are crazy and if they do you won't be the only crazy pregnant lady that they hear from today...:0)
  • If the baby is kicking and you aren't bleeding, I would think everything is fine.  That being said, I'd be a neurotic mess.  Is there a nurse at the OB's office you could talk to?
  • Especially since you're feeling the baby moving- it's probably ok.  But, I don't think it would hurt to give the Dr office a call- just to ease your mind.
  • If the baby is kicking and you feel ok I may not call. ?But if you want some peace of mind then I'd give a call today. ?
  • If it were me, I would call.. I am a hypochondriac though....

  • Okay....the similarities in our lives are starting to get a bit creepy now!!!  LOL!  My Anthony kicked me in the stomach at just about the same time you posted this today.  Same type of thing...it was all over a diaper change and it hurt so bad I was doubled over.  I freaked out for about 45 minutes because I couldn't feel the baby move, but I finally did.  I was thinking about calling the doctor, but then I talked myself out of it.  I figure the baby is developed now and probably is fine if he's kicking and moving around.  I just think it's crazy that the same thing happened to us today right around the same time.  Those Anthony's!!!  :)
