Watch out for your doggies!
I am an old Nestie--I don't live in Vegas anymore (moved almost 3yrs ago) but my family still lives there. I just wanted to warn people--my brother owns a club/bar Downtown & often brought his dog w/ him to work (before the bar opens). He had the alley door open to let in air & at some point a man saw his dog inside, lured her out & picked her up (she's a chiuaua) & walked away. My brother caught the entire thing on security cameras so he knows exactly what happened. He's got a reward offered & took the video to the cops who said it was a felony (Grand Larceny). So please warn others...people are doing some pretty evil things & I don't want this to happen to others.
AKA Carol*Brady! IHO my upcoming 10yr Nestiversary--Back to old screenname. My own Marsha, Jan & Cindy...

Re: Watch out for your doggies!
That's terrible!!! Dog theft is HUGE here in Vegas. One of my friends had both of her dogs stolen, on separate occassions, right out of her backyard. She put "missing dog" signs up in her neighborhood. While she was outside in her front lawn, a kid came up to her and started telling her that he just got a new dog that looked exactly like hers did, with the same collar and everything, right in the middle of his "tattletale" his mother came and smacked his mouth, picked him up, put him in a truck, and took off. It was one of her freakin neighbors that did it! When I first moved into this house, I overheard one of my nieghbors talking to someone about how much he could sell one of my dogs for at the park. Him and some other guy were discussing how to get in the yard and take my dog. I creeped up to the fence and told the guys that I could hear everything that they were saying, and since then, the dogs are never outside unsupervised.
And my dad things I am nuts for keeping my dogs in the house when I'm not home. I think it is terrible that people are so friggin selfish and feel so entitled to other people's property and pets (and pets are like family members, I would be devastated if someone took one of my dogs)!
