Hi everyone...I hope to frequent this board more often since I will be moving back to Chicago from ?Rhode Island (where I've been for the last 5 years).
First, I will be moving to the NW side of the city (near Oak Park). ?I'm looking for a pediatrician recommendation. ?I have two little girls (4 months old and 2 years old).
I'd also like some ideas of fun places to go with the kids that is not downtown (aquarium, museum, etc.) I know of Lincoln Park Zoo and Brookfield and all the major places where I'd go on school field trips when I was younger...but I'm looking for like local places. ?I know there is a children's museum on the NW side. ?Any thing else like that?
?
I'm planning on taking my daughter to gymboree classes since that's what she was doing here in RI but are there other good classes/activities for toddlers to do?
?Is there a website with an events calendar geared towards family events? ?(there was a great one for RI so I hoped Chicago would have one, too!)
?
Thanks so much!?
Re: Moving back to Chitown in June...need many recs.
I'm not very familiar with that specific area, but I just wanted to say welcome to Illinois! Your kids are adorable.
