Just saying...

Seeing a bathing suit on a model that weighs as much as my pinky does not make me want to buy it.  That is bad advertising.  I'd like to see an average size woman wearing it, that way I can better acess what I will look like in it.  Also a size 0 with huge boobs in a bathing suit doesn't make me want to buy it either.

Re: Just saying...

  • I agree completely...my FMIL had me looking through Victoria Secrets magazine to pick out a bathing suit for my birthday....I pointed to one and  told her I liked it but only if I could purchase the models long torso and big boobs to go along with it :)

  • BLEH to bathing suits!

I like to buy bathing suits online (that ARE returnable) so that I can cry and moan in the comfort of my own home when I look like a fat cow in the mirror :)

  • Air brushing the stretchmarks that real sized people have and actually feeding models costs more. Ha ha ha...

I put on a bathing suit for the first time this year and my body looked less than stellar.  Especially since I'm 15 lbs heavier than my wedding weight last year this time :(

At least my bathing suit fits me correctly, though.  Some of the girls I saw were wearing completely the wrong size.  I almost got flashed and I got to see a power wedgie in action.

  • Try Athleta.com... they look athletic, not starved.
