you and DH: Separate or Shared Bathrooms?

If you have 2+ full bathrooms, I'm wondering whether you and DH share one (and keep the other pristine for guests) or do you each have your own full bathroom?

We have two bathrooms and each use one. I use the "guest" bathroom so I know it's presentable should guests come by. I don't go anywhere NEAR his (which is off our bedroom).

We actually use seperate bathrooms.  I have the master and he uses the main bath.

We share the main bath and I use the master (which is the size of my pinky making the shower unpleasant) as a vanity for makeup/hair.

My DH is the cleaner, neater one of the two of us. I'm not gross, he's just mental.

DH and I have always shared.  Right now we only have 1 1/2 baths, but we used to have 2 1/2 baths.

We only have 1 bath now (ahhh, apt living!) so I just assumed we'd continue to share, but now I am really re-thinking things!

We're in the process of purchasing a place with 2.5 baths (half on the main floor for guests, one full bath off the MBR, and the other full bath in the upstairs hallway). I just assumed we'd share the master bath and keep the main bath nice and clean, BUT we rarely have overnight guests, and since there is a half bath downstairs, I'm thinking I should take over the master - which is bigger, and cuter, and has a walk-in closet attached - and he should use the other upstairs bath. Hmmm, I wonder how this will go over with DH when I present it to him?

We have 2 full baths but we share.

We both use our master bathroom and keep the other one upstairs for Ava or guests when guests stay over.

we only have 1 now, but in our old house he took the the small guest bathroom and I had the master.  It was so nice, one of the only things I miss about the old house.

What I would give for the ability to have 2 bathrooms- this house doesnt...our last house did (it was joy) This house requires a lot of "compromise"

For now, our schedules are so different that we just share one bathroom. If that changes, we'll probably do the separate bathroom thing. We have a 1/2 bath for guests.

We have separate bathrooms and I love it.  We are in the process of remodeling my bathroom so I have to share with him and it is terrible!!!  I forgot how much I loved having my own space!

We have two full bathrooms in our apartment and we each have our own. In the new house, there's only one full bathroom upstairs, so we'll have to share.

we have 1.5 baths - so we both shower in the same bathroom

however he gets ready in the full bath and I get ready in the half bath
