cathy young cakes??
Please tell me the best cake (flavor) to order from Cathy Young? I now live in Jersey- but will be in SA for mothers day weekend- and will be celebrating DD 1 year Bday.
Also- someone once posted about an Amaretto cake that she makes....?? I need to order this soon... so any ideas will help out-
So far the only cake recd was for the Vanilla.... I have a very large family and want more options.

I don't know about Cathy Young, but I know our baker let us choose 4 flavors we wanted to try and made little sample cakes for us.
I would call and let them know when you will be down and see if they can do a tasting for you. ?GL!?
Cathy Young is wonderful!!!!!! She did all our wedding cakes and I know the ?cake at at least one of my showers too. However, I am totally blanking on the flavors!!!!!! Sooo sorry... I know Dh's groom cake was a chocolate with I think some choc chips... it was amazing!
Mine was pretty traditional...?butter-cream?frosting and maybe vanilla (it was light in the center.) I seriously don't remember.?
Possibly the cake at my shower was amaretto...
Anything you choose will be delish- you can't go wrong with Cathy Young!?
ETA- she'll give you samples, but it sounds like you don't have that option as you won't be down here before you need the cake.?
