changing name?
Alright, I went and had my name changed on my license today. I am going to the SSA office this week too. I think I have to mail a bunch of stuff in to the passport place to have that changed. I called my credit cards and they are sending me new cards.... is there anything else I need to have changed that I havent mentioned? I know I can buy a kit, but I think DIYing it is fine. Any oversights?

Your on the ball... I have been marriedfor 6months & have not had anytime to do any of that yet!
You got it! i just went to SS on Friday and after i receive my new card i have to show that to my employer to change everything at work.
What do you need to do for your passport? that is the only thing that im missing.
you do not need to buy that kit, you have everything down pack and the internet is a great tool for resource.

For the passport, you have to mail your actual passport and marriage cert to them, and then they will mail you anew one back- I just dont like the idea of mailing those things in case they get lost. I am doing this one last so I can get the other things done that need those docs first.
