Val

I didn't expect you to pop over here! It's nice to "see" you again :)

I didn't know you were from Cville - do you know the Elstros? I became friends with R's wife when we worked together at a state office and now he's in the same dept, but downtown. They just had their second little girl a couple of weeks ago :)

Move along, nothing to see here.....

Re: Val

  • I try to pop over here every once in awhile. ?I am usually on the Bump though! ?Yep, born and raised in C'ville. ?R is a year or two younger than me and his brother is about the same older than me. ?I just saw they had a baby on FB a week or so ago. ?Funny how small the world gets, his parents live next door to my FIL.
  • I knew you were on The Bump, so that's why I was surprised to see you over here. I noticed that the local Bump board is pretty active :)

It is a small world! I figured you might at least recognize the name given the size of the town, but I didn't know if you ever heard updates or not :P

Move along, nothing to see here.....
  • I don't come over here very often, I usually look to see if anything is happening, but don't normally post here. ?How are things in your world?

Yeah they are a known name, they do own an oil company ;-) ?I really don't keep up all that much with town goings on, unless my mom knows or I see it on FB, I'm pretty clueless. ??

  • That sounds like most of us, I think - we lurk, but rarely post :P

Things have been a bit crazy with two layoffs and trying to get school wrapped up. The career shift has given me the opportunity to focus on my graphic design "business" a bit more, so that is nice :)

hehehe, that's how I get a lot of info from my hometown - my parents still run into people or they read the local newspaper.  It's amazing how many old classmates have found me on FB!

Move along, nothing to see here.....
  • I was actually going thru my sent mail the other day and saw a message from you about doing monograms for my sisters wedding. ?

Yes the Bump is much more active, and there are a lot of "old timers" over there. ?

We decided that I should stay home to care for our DD and it's been one bad news after another since I officially quit. ?Our car was hit and run while we were shopping, our furnace may or may not need replaced and our sprinklers failed teh back flow testing!?
