my husband and i are thinking of staying at a hotel downtown for our anniversary for a nice romantic night.

We did a suite at the Conrad (Hilton) for our wedding night, it was fantastic. If you let them know it's your anniversary, I'm sure they'd take care of you.
Because we're fancy like that.
