Seeking new moms to be or new moms
Hello everyone!
I am a first time mom to be (due in August!) and am very excited. But I am the first of my friends and family to have a baby, so this is a bit overwhelming! I have no idea what I am doing and books/internet can only help so much.
I would love to meet new moms to be (or new moms) and do all the stuff that new mommies do together. If you are ready for a new friend, shoot me a message, and lets connect!

Looking forward to your email...

hi & welcome to the board! and baby congrats!
(my kids have four legs )
Hey, someone posted this link this weekend. It looks like a great group. I won't be moving to SD till September, but will definitely be checking it out when I get there!

Hi! Mom of a 5 year old and I'm 13 weeks pg with my second.
I highly suggest joining a playgroup! I did this when my daugher was 1 and am now the co-captain of my playgroup this year. I have made some wonderful friends, and even though our kids our now in school, we still meet up weekly and my daughter's "playgroup" buddies are still very important to her! There are playgroups that are specific to age, working Moms, only children etc etc.
Check out The Parent Connection. A one year memebership is only $20.00 You can jump online and ask any question and will have a wealth of knowledge at your fingertips. This is also a great resource for finding a playgroup after your baby is born. I can't say enough great things about it!!!!!

also, if you are interested in learning more about natural birth, cloth diapering, babywearing, or other 'crunchy' topics, i suggest joining either san diego babywearer's or the crunchy crowd on big tent. we are a couple really active groups that do free informational meetings/playgroups all over SD county.
congrats
