Hi girls.....I'm a former knottie/nestie from the Lansing area. We've been in Florida five years, but are moving back in about 3 weeks.
I'm looking for pediatrician recommendations in the Lansing/Mason area. I have a two month old named Henry and a three-and-a-half year old named Sam. My bigger worry is Sam since he has developmental delays. I'm looking for a pediatrician that is proactive, listens to parents, spends TIME with parents and makes any visits about the child. Sam has seen several specialists in his short life, so someone who is not afraid to make a referral would be ideal. While Sam is developmentally delayed, he is not Autistic and I'd prefer to keep that label off. It was ruled out last year. He attends a full-day special education program right now since he receives speech and occupational therapies.
Re: Pediatrician recommendation?
Ive been very pleased with Lansing Peds, however, I know they lost a Dr last year and have been extremely busy since they are short staffed. I heard they would be hiring a new doc this summer to replace the one that left.I think a lot of the girls on this board take their kids to Lansing Peds. We see Dr Hoop and he has always been very attentive.
Welcome back to MI!
