It's sad and amazing that she passed away 5 years ago today from cancer. She was an amazing woman.. and I just wish I was able to get to know her a little better. But I am happy to hear from friends and family members that she would be proud to have me as a Daughter in Law. That makes me feel wonderful.
My DH seems to be doing well though. He went to her mass today and went to visit her grave site with his 2 aunts and just called me up happy and in a good mood. RIP Patricia.. You will always be here in our hearts.
We're extremely tired today, went to Milford.. Went shopping. I scored serious values at my store and bought 6 new shirts.. My friend who's getting handfasted next weekend told me to live outside the box and NOT to wear black to her ceremony. So I tried on shirts that I never thought would look good and.. well they looked awesome on me and I found the right shirt for the handfasting. *Does cabbage patch*
Anywho.. Tomorrow I'm making my 4 cheese macaroni and cheese. Test run. Wish me luck!!
Re: Today is the 5 year anniversary of my MIL's passing and more..
Good luck with your mac & cheese!!! Glad to hear you found some shirts.
Thanks Hun!! Tomorrow's Richard's Chistening right? GL with that, hope everything goes perfect for you!!
PS. You know I'll be bringing some in on Monday.
Sorry to hear about your MIL. Isn't it nice to know she liked you?
Whatever happened with the problem with your FIL's real estate tax (think that was it) where they were saying you owed thousands? I've been hoping you were able to resolve that because that was scary.
Hey, thanks for asking! It's still up in the air. We got a huge envelope full of paperwork from Florida to look over. But we're not sure if we'll owe.. or really what's going on at this point. I honestly don't think it's as bad as we thought before which is awesome! I'll definitely fill you all in more when I know exactly what is going on.
