Mom, I need help

Emma learned to stand in her crib. I have been trying to put her to bed for about 30 min now. everytime i go in and lay her down within 3 min she is standing again. HELP, how do i get this girl to bed.

Re: Mom, I need help

  • I've learned that if I put in a few books to occupy my DS, that he reads (or looks through the books) for a little bit and then just goes to sleep on his own.. hope it helps!
  • I generally leave him standing, He has his "friends" in there with him to keep him company.

"A Team" - that is exactly what I did with DS when we went through this faze, books and stuffed animals.  Sorry you are going through this, hopefully Emma goes down soon.

  • Wish I could help.  DS isn't even sitting up on his own yet never mind standing.  I hope she goes to bed soon! Smile
  • I don't even remember what we did for Evan when he went through this stage... Hopefully it doesn't last too long.
  • Oh, how I remember that stage! We just let her be and eventually (sometimes a good while later) she would finally sit herself down and go to sleep. Good luck! I think the phase lasted a few weeks.
