DH is Madison County and they are out until Monday too. They had to cancel basketall try-outs. This is getting wild. They are even closing the parks and day care.

The AHSAA also announced tonight that all HS sports state wide will be canceled at least the rest of this week!  My hubby is disappointed because the third round of the state baseball playoffs is Friday!!

This really sucks.  We got an email at work about this yesterday.  Most of our patients we treat are in the indigent population and don't have insurance and they are expecting our hospital to start seeing a bunch of cases come in now that they suspect it has reached Alabama. At least they know which medicines can treat it (at least our email with the attached file from the CDC says that they do).

Yep HSV city, Madison County, Madison City, private schools, and day cares are closed until Monday.  The elementary school where the two children that may have it attend is closed till May 11th.  They are even closing city parks.  It's very scary!

I heard this on the news this morning about the schools and the sporting events.  But they are closing even city parks??  Yikes!  This is really scary.
