mom's bedtime poll

1. what time is bedtime for your little one

2. how old are they?

3. do they fight you or go down and thats it?

Emma was always an easy one to put down. If we put her down that was it, we didnt hear a peep from her. the past 2 nights it has been a battle to get her to go to sleep. tonight I am going on 2 hours of trying to get her to bed and she is still awake.

Re: mom's bedtime poll

  • 1. Around 7:30pm (though it's almost 8:30pm and we're just getting him to bed, but we had family in town)

    2. 2 years old.

    3.  Depends on the night.  Some nights without a peep.  Other nights he screams.

    1. 7:30 pretty much on the dot

    2. 13 months

    3. Never fights, goes down right away - if he cries, it's for less than 2 minutes.

  • 1. 7:30, he is ready to go down

    2. 3 1/2 months old

     3. usually nurses and goes right to bed, last two nights he is playing around taking longer but is really tired.  I don't know if it is too light in his room or not.

  • 1.  We aim for 7 pm.  sometimes it is a bit before, sometimes well after.

    2. almost 7 months.

    3.  We've had both.  DS started out going down easy - falling asleep at the bottle.  Then we hit a rough patch where it was a battle to get him down each night - hours of crying (on both our parts), car rides, etc.  Just this past week, knock on wood, things seem to have reverted back to being easy to go down.

I hope Emma is down now - it's awful when putting them to sleep is a fight.

  • 1. &2 ?7:45pm for my 21 month old

    1. &2?.?9pm for my 3 year old

    3. My 21 month old does not fight it.. sometimes my 3 year old does...?

  • 1. 9 for last feeding then bed

    2. 4 months

    3. Usually no fight be he is in our room right now.  All of us crawl into bed and he goes right out.  When he goes into his own room we'll see if it changes.

  • 1. 6:30pm

    2. A year and a half

    3. She cries for about a minute when I walk out of the room and then usually talks/babbles for 10-30 minutes before she falls asleep.?

  • 1. what time is bedtime for your little one?  He usually falls asleep around 7:30pm

    2. how old are they? 3 months

    3. do they fight you or go down and thats it?  He goes right down.

  • 1. what time is bedtime for your little one  7:30-8:00

    2. how old are they?  Will be One on Saturday!

    3. do they fight you or go down and thats it? Usually he will go down okay

  • 1. what time is bedtime for your little one? 7pm

    2. how old are they? 16 months on Tuesday

    3. do they fight you or go down and thats it? rarely does she fight it.  she will usually fall asleep within minutes, or occasionally, chats with her stuffed animals/plays with her aquarium for 10-15 mins until she is ready.  if she fights it, I take her out and rock her for a couple minutes, then put her back down.

  • 1. 8pm

    2. 13 months

    3. She goes down easily, but a couple of weeks ago she went through about 4 or 5 days of screaming and crying when we put her in the crib. It passed, though, and she's going down easily again.

I hope Emma is just going through a short phase like that, too, and that it'll stop soon!
