tomorrow is May 1st (wow did April fly!!)...and Cinco de Mayo is around the corner (seriously..what better reason to drink beer & tequila) does anyone have any plans???

i usually make some tacos (traditional ones rolled up and fried..yummy grease) and/or fajitas accompanied by a nice cold margarita (on the rocks of course) and a beer for the hubs.  but since this year i'm knocked up i won't be having my margaritas...anyone going to a party???

We actually never really celebrate Cinco de Mayo but Mexican food sounds great right now. Do the Mexican restaurants get crazy on that day?

Hey, you can still have frozen margaritas, sans the tequila!

I had taco night last week, and loved it... so I'll prob do the same for Cinco de Mayo.

they def get packed...seriously the only reason i celebrate it b/c my gfs and i always did.  and its fun!!! we usually invite friends over for food and drinks...not sure if we're doing anything this year.

I can't wait for Cinco de Mayo - although April certainly flew by WAY too fast! Since we're trying to eat better at home we haven't had "Taco night" in a while, so I think we'll definitely have to make an exception. And maybe some home-made margaritas, yummm

I dont know if Im doing anything for Cinco yet but I am certainly craving mexican food now!

We only celebrate Cinco b/c that is actually the day that I moved down here from Michigan to live with DH so we celebrate that. So it will be 3 years on the 5th. YAY! I dont know if we are doing anything though. Maybe I'll make tacos and have a drink that night.

When I was single cinco de Mayo was a huge going out night! So yes those places to get packed and wild..I'm definitely going to keep it low key my hubby has to work

I think I'll be going to Finnegans on the River in Brickell. It's an Irish sports place, but that day they are going all out Mexican. They are even having a mechanical bull. So excited!! oh and Margaritas will be part of our celebration for sure. lol
