shower locations in auburn?

a friend of mine is throwing a shower in auburn, but needs a place to have it since she's out of town. are there any tea shops or something like that? I suggested the new sips n strokes, but she needs more ideas

sips n strokes isn't open yet..at least I don't think so. I think they just found the location for it.

Anyway, I'm so lacking on ideas about this. For some reason the only place i can think of is the new student center on campus..lol. I just found out our friends are having their reception there so that's why it's on my mind.

i just found on their blog that it's set to open May 20th....thanks for the student center idea!

If I think of anywhere else I'll be sure to let you know but I do know that the ballroom and the other smaller rooms in the student center are pretty nice

I had my bridesmaids luncheon at Terra Cotta Cafe.  It might be a little pricier than she has in mind, but it's absolutely fantastic.  821-3656 is the number if she wants to call.

I second terra cotta. Or try the picket fence in opelika. Moore's mill country club, umm I am trying to think and having a hard time. If I come up with anything else I will let ya know.

I just saw where you can rent rooms at the Elks Lodge. I don t know if ots nice or expensive or anything... Sorry

Amsterdam Cafe has just finished a room that can accomodate showers and parties. They have the best food!  It's my favorite in Auburn. Terra Cotta is also good, and Greystone Mansion.
