I need a hat for the KY Derby
We're headed to the Kentucky Derby in two weeks and I need a hat. I've been to Macy's, Nordstrom and JC Penney but haven't found much. Well, I found a spectacular hat at Nordstrom but I'm not going to spend $110 for one! I plan on hitting ABC Trading and Amkor this week but I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions? Thanks!

i'd do a couple online image searches and then head to michaels or hobby lobby...from what i've seen, a hat, some feathers, a bow and a glue gun will get you there for less money and more fun.
i happen to have a "derby" hat that dh bought me when we were dating and went to watch the derby at fairmont park in collinsville. mine is pink with yellow, white, and green flowers, a bow, and a yellow-painted horse shoe. it's cute, but the horse shoe made it heavy after awhile.?
Maybe Levine Hat Company on Washington Downtown? I think they have mostly men's hats but you might call them and see if they have women's too.
Hats for the Derby can get up there in price because the hat is what it is all about. have you tried EBay?
