Re: Survey
Where is your favorite "date spot" to go with your DH in Saint Louis (metro area)? Cardinal games or Rams games-- on a regular weekend, the lake boating in the summer or in the winter, playing Bingo.
What is one thing you LOVE about your DH? he's an engineer so he can fix most anything-- or so he tells me and he's really funny most of the time.
What is one thing that you DON'T love about your DH? his work travel schedule.
How long have you been married? 6.5 years. Together for 12 years.
What is your favorite part of being married? I don't know that being married is any different than just being together, but I love that we get to travel a lot.
What is your least favorite part of being married? His last name. I miss my maiden name. It sounded much better.
I like going to Chesterfield Mall for date nights. We would eat at Cheesecake Factory or Cheeburger Cheeburger. After dinner we walk around the mall and window shop before going to the theater to watch a movie.
I love that he is just so happy all the time and is such a great encourager.
What I don't love? I wish he wasn't such a baby when he is sick.
We have been married for 5 years.
My favorite part of being married is just being comfortable around each other and having so much in common.
My least favorite part is that we don't go on dates like we used to. I know it is harder with the baby but I really enjoyed dating him and sometimes it would be fun to just come home and have him say "Baby I got a sitter and am taking you out tonight."
Where is your favorite "date spot" to go with your DH in Saint Louis (metro area)? We go to Cardinals game when we get time, which isn't often b/c DH coaches baseball in the summer; we go out for dinner; one of my favorite "date" things is just to drive around with him, talking, and singing with the radio
What is one thing you LOVE about your DH? What is one thing that you DON'T love about your DH?
Love: He calms me down when I get stressed out.
Don't love: He starts projects around the house, but they take much longer and are more expensive than first expected. (case in point...we registered for Home Depot gift cards so he could build a bar in the basement. He said it would only take 3 or 4 months and about $200 to finish. Over a year and a lot more than $200 later, the bar is finally finished, but DH started other changes in the basement and hasn't finished those.
How long have you been married? What is your favorite part of being married? What is your least favorite part of being married?
We've been married for 16 months.
My favorite part of being married: just "getting" each other so well. We have the same goals for our lives, and we are working to reach those goals. First goal...baby
Least favorite: Between work and coaching baseball, DH is busy, so he slacks on his household duties, even as basic as putting his dishes from the counter into the dishwasher.
Where is your favorite "date spot" to go with your DH in Saint Louis (metro area)? I don't think we have a favorite date spot in St. Louis yet, we've hardly gone anywhere more than once
What is one thing you LOVE about your DH? What is one thing that you DON'T love about your DH? I love that he always tries to make me feel better about everything and he shows he loves me. I don't love that he procrastinates.
How long have you been married? What is your favorite part of being married? What is your least favorite part of being married? We'll be celebrating our 3 year anniversary this month. My favorite part about being married is being with him (almost) every day and having somebody to share life with. Least favorite thing... mmm... I don't know, I can't even think about anything right now...
