What do you do on the weekends?
I'm sitting here trying to think of something to do, just spent some gift cards at the mall and now I'm doing laundry.
Not too exciting. What do you guys do on the weekends for fun?

Re: What do you do on the weekends?
For me it varies on who I'm hanging out with:
- go to a friends who has a pool and chill out/talk with them while swimming
- hiking/biking in Sabino Canyon with DH
- hit the Bear Canyon library to read trashy magazines (when I'm on my own)
- Have friends over for dinner, or try some new dish for DH and I
- "supper club" potlucks with a group I belong to (host picks a theme and then people bring the side dishes and desserts) - great for people with kids because the kids can play together in the yard while we talk
- Dh and I also enjoy some good vegging time in front of the TV on weekends since during the week we're running 24/7
Supper Club is a monthly activity for another group I belong to (Tucson Medical Housestaff Alliance - it's a support and networking group for the spouses and families of med student/residents/etc who are here for UofA).
You could do it with neighbors, or a friends of friends type thing which would be a great way to meet a bunch of new people. We've done it at someone's relatively small apartment - you just fit everyone in But a place with a yard or an extra room is better if there's kids so they have space to play and not be right underfoot.
We like deal hunting, doing home improvements and small road trips.
For estate sales we check out http://www.thegirlsestatesales.com every Thursday to see if they are selling anything interesting. I once got a cookie jar for $20 that was worth over $100.
We just took a trip to Bisbee, but on the way there we didn't use I-10. Just all small backroads which was fun.
Lately H been working on his classic Mustang and I've been working on sewing projects. We've been out of town a lot lately so we are hoping for a few quiet weekends.
