Hi ladies!
DH and I are going to Portland, Newport and the McMinville area (and surrounding) in Willamette Valley in June. Do you have any restaurant recs or definite sites not to miss? Thanks so much for your help!

Is Newport set in stone? I'd vote for Cannon Beach over Newport, I think.

Explore Nye Beach in Newport. There are some nice little restaurants and wine shops. Mo's is the well-known chowder restaurant on the coast. People either love it or hate it. Canyon Way Bookstore is a good place to hang out, and they have a cafe.
Thanks ladies - I appreciate it! I tried to get to Cannon Beach but the B&B we liked was booked. I've been to Newport before and really liked it so I'm looking forward to going back.
Thanks for the Nick's rec - you are probably the 5th person to recommend it so that will definitely be a stop. We have reservations at Bistro Maison for our anniversary but we'll be in McMinnville for two nights so there's always the second night!
In terms of food, we like asian, comfort/diner type food and seafood. Any other recommendations would be great! Thanks again!
