How long is your commute?

For my new job, it takes me 30 minutes but I'm going east so I hit no traffic in the morning. My co-workers were pretty shocked by how far I am. But after commuting to Queens for the past few years, I'm just happy not to sit in traffic anymore!

It's understandable. Driving is horrifying to some. I have the opposite problem though. I hate not being the one driving in a car. I always drive when H & I go some where.

He only started really driving a couple of years ago and I would get panicked when he would drive. I have to make a consious effort to stay calm and keep my mouth shut when he's driving because I get so freaked. That's why I'm the one who usually just drives to make it easier.

It's not just him though. My mom freaks me out when she drives too. I don't know what it is but I wish I could just chill and let someone else drive for once.

  • By the way, a 10 minute commute sounds nice! You could walk to work when it's nice out. Smile

  • I'm pretty lucky, I only have about a 15 minute commute. With living in East Hampton, though, my commute is going to get a lot longer in the evenings after Memorial Day :(
