What shampoo do you use?

I feel like I need new shampoo/conditioner.

If you really like yours, what do you use??  Don't care if it's salon brand or drug store.  Thanks!

Re: What shampoo do you use?

  • I use Aussie products (shampoo and conditioner). I can't remember the specific name but I know they are both for moisturizing. My hair is so soft and doesn't frizz when I blow dry and straighten it.
  • Redken Soft Shampoo and Conditioner and occassionally Head and Shoulders cuz I need it.

  • Bumble & Bumble gentle/rich.  I was reluctant because of the price, but I will never go back.  It makes SUCH a huge difference on my hair.

  • Biolage, whatever the one for colored/highlighted hair is.  I get it at JCPenney when they have it on sale!
  • I'm a total cheapo when it comes to shampoo and conditioner.  I found this new line -- Organix -- at CVS that came with a full rebate, so natch I went for that.  As it turns out, it's really nice!  I'm using the Coconut Milk one.
  • I've been through almost all of them -- drug store and salon. My favorite is still VO5 shampoo and conditioner. I think it makes my hair look and feel the best and gives it body that other shampoos just don't.
  • Graham Web Vivid color - love the stuff!
  • I usually buy whatever is on sale, but we try to stick with a few favorites:

    Fructis, Herbal Essences, and Pantene.

I LOVE the Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner. Hard to find lately, but it's amazing if your hair gets tangled easily or for after swimming.

  • I use Biolage but I also use Paul Mitchell sometimes.
  • I just got the Pantene Extra Straight, and so far its great at making my hair pretty darn straight, and I have crazy wavy hair that needs controlling.
  • I use Pantene - I switch it up a bit and try the different types of Pantene - but they're all pretty much good.
  • Matrix Sleek Shampoo & Conditioner

I alternate shampoos with the Pantene Reconstructing Anti-Frizz every couple of days

  • I also use Bumble & Bumble gentle shampoo. It is expensive, but my stylist talked me into it. I can't really tell if it's better than anything else I've used.
    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • Pureology or Kerastase

  • I use Lush Squeaky Green bar shampoo.  It seems a little pricey when you first get it but the $10 lasts you between 3 and 4 months.  And it makes my hair SO SOFT and manageable.  No conditioner, I don't need it - and my hair is prone to flyaways so that says something.

  • I use Redken Fresh Curls shampoo and Redken Butter Treat conditioner.
  • I use Pantene. My hair is very oily and must be washed daily so it's difficult for me to find a shampoo it likes.

So becaue I ran out of Pantene. I'm using DH's biolage and herbal essence conditioner.. It's ok so far. Smells nice. Big Smile

  • Kerastase is wonderful, but fairly expensive....someone recently turned me on to Wen Haircare-its a conditioner that replaces shampoo....its awesome
