Just saw your "popped" post, you look fantastic!!!!!

Re: *~*~Beknmike~*~*

  • Yes, I meant to replyn to that post as well, and didn't.  You look great Momma!!
  • awww thanks!

when will we get to see sugarbelly again??

  • And Jen, when do get to see LizzyTiish belly?
  • LOL Becky!!  Maybe next week....it's finally starting to be noticable now, and look like I'm pg, and not just fat!!  I'll try to get a shot this week while I'm on vacation.  We have our 16 week appointment next Thursday--do you have yours this week, or did you already have it?  We're hoping that the baby cooperates and we're able to find out the sex at that appointment.  I know DH is dying to know!!  Have you thought at all about nursery colors/theme since you're not finding out the sex of your little one??

Sugargirl--are you finding out the sex of your little one??  Hope you're feeling good these days too!!

  • Ha! The sugarbelly is getting QUITE large!!! My MIL was over this weekend to take some measurements (hee hee, not of my belly!  For new blinds!) and said "Wow, I can't believe you're showing already!!  I don't think I did until about 6 months!"  Gotta love her, she's awesome Smile  We had a good laugh over my baby bump Big Smile
  • I must admit, after being ill last week, DH and I are both feeling much better (at least as of this morning!).  And we are TOTALLY finding out what it is!  Calling tomorrow to schedule the appointment for around 19 weeks so hopefully they'll see boy or girl parts!!!

It's so funny, I feel like we're the pregnant trio since we're due all around the same time!  Hope you guys are feeling great Party!!!

  • We have our 16 week appointment on Wednesday. We're hoping to finally hear the heartbeat. He/she was way too active last time & they couldn't find it. Judging from all the movement I've been feeling lately, they might just have a similar problem again this time! This baby's a mover & a shaker. It's crazy!

We're going to go pretty neutral with the nursery... the usual greens & yellows. This is the only bedding set we've been able to agree on so far... so it might be the one we go with. http://www.brandeedanielle.com/FlutterBeeBabyBedding-4.aspx

  • By the way, sugar.. my mom told me she didn't start wearing maternity clothes with me 'till she was 7 months. And she didn't even NEED to at that time, but she wanted to start looking pregnant. Something tells me that women were built differently in the 70s & 80s...
  • LOL Sugar--I feel like we're the pregnant trio too--we're all pretty much due within a week of eachother.  I love having you girls going through the same thing as me!

Becky--I like the bedding you guys might use.  I've always loved yellow.  Do you know what color furniture you're going to use?  I'm having a hard time making that decision.  I've always wanted white, but I have white wainscoting on the bottom part of the walls in the baby's room, and I'm afraid it's going to be too much white in there.  What do you think?

  • We'll probably go with some kind of dark wood... cherry or something.

I think white furniture with white wainscoting would be nice!! As long as you put some kind of bright color on the walls above the wainscoting, I don't think that'd be too much white.

  • Well, when we moved into the house, we knew that room would eventually be a nursery, so that's why I did the wainscoting and we painted the walls a green color.  Not bright, but certainly not a pale color either.  I'm planning to keep the color as of right now.  I guess I'll have to wait and choose the bedding first, then make the decision.  I appreciate your opinion though!  You got me thinking that my first inclination might be a good one! LOL!  Let me know when you choose the bedding for sure--I love that stuff.  Do you have a wall color already?  Yellow or green?
