This event is inspired by local St. Jude patient Kyla, from Waterbury. In 2006, twenty one month old Kyla was diagnosed with a deadly brain tumor. Kyla was treated at St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital where she underwent brain surgery and weeks of radiation therapy. In December 2006, Kyla was released from St. Jude cancer free!
Run, walk, or bring the family for fun post-race activities. All registrants and guests are invited to reconvene in Library Park for music, food, team photos, and entertainment with Scupine the Clown!
