Are you sun conscious?
Do you wear SPF on a daily basis? Do you avoid the sun at peak hours?
Re: Today's Question: 5/4
As pasty as I am, people would never believe I'm a sun worshiper. Nothing makes me happier than an afternoon of floating in my community pool in an innertube.
The makeup I wear has spf 15, so I usually have that protection on my face. I do not avoid the sun at peak hours.
At 27 years old, I have a big old wrinkle that runs along my forehead. When I was floating in the pool Saturday, I considered that wrinkle for a few seconds, and the fact that the sun was NOT going to help it. Then I took a drink of my home made sangria, and continued to float
I know it's dangerous, but honestly the euphoria I experience after a couple hours in the sun is WONDERFUL for me. It's practically like being high. I LOVE the sun.
I do try to keep an eye on my moles and such, because I realize I'm putting myself at a higher risk, but darn it, I just love the sun!
I'll wear an 8SPF if I am going to be in the sun all day, usually at the beach or lake. I only apply once or twice through out the day, though.
I work outside a lot for my job, but I do not put on sunscreen, however, my make up has an SPF 15.
I tan very well.
Sun? What's that? (It's gray here today...and has been for the past few days. I can't wait to be in SC!)
I do wear SPF 30 if I'm going to be outside all day. I'm not as diligent as I should be, but I try I love the sun and I love a tan, but I have an aunt who was a total beach bum and has very leathery skin now...she's in her 50's. I really don't want to look like that!
Haha yes I do not want to go for the leathery look.
I probably sound like more of a sun worshiper than I am. While I LOVE LOVE LOVE the sun, I don't go out every day or anything, and if I have even a hint of a burn I wont go out in the sun for a few days to a week.
I've also NEVER had anyone compliment me on my tan, even when I'm at my darkest.... (which isn't very dark at all) haha.
Its one of those things that I know I shouldn't...but I always forget.
I'm extremely pale, but I almost never even burn. I can only think of a few mild sunburns in my life. I also can't tan. I live by that Jergen's lotion that changes your color gradually and bronzer.
Unfortunately I'm sure I'll pay for it eventually. My grandmother just had cancer removed off her face and usually has to have it done once a year.
