I missed you!

Is that weird to say? I hope not, because it's true! Embarrassed

My week in Detroit was loooong and busy, and I am so happy to be home! Sylvia is too cute-- my first night home I sneezed and she put her arms around me quickly and said "be careful!" LOL. And then yesterday she let me stay in bed almost all day while she worked on her dissertation. It was wonderful.

For some reason I can't post to the Nest from my blackberry, but I can post to my blog. So, I'm finally following in Elise's footsteps and "coming out". Smile I'm new to the whole blogging thing, and finding it nice to have a place to write things down (especially when I can't get on here to share!). I haven't posted since last Monday, but here it is anyway:

Re: I missed you!

  • we missed you too!

i was wondering how your week was going! and i think you have a super sweet wife :) did you see her posts? it was so cute!

     off to read your blog!

  • Welcome back!  I ditto CT - Sylvia was so cute with her posts!  How are you feeling?

I just started blogging too, but am not ready to post a link.  I've been emailing a few friends every day with updates and they suggested I change over to blog format...so with my heels dragging I started on.  Now I'm going to go check yours out for inspiration :-)

  • I can't comment on your blog :-(

Question - did the Clomid Crazies start for you right away?  I'm on day 4 of 100mg and so far I've had no side effects.  I've warned K though and I'm waiting for random tears or hot flashes Confused

Oops, I didn't realize I might be blocking people from commenting. I think I've fixed it now. Thanks for the heads-up!

Aside from my burrito meltdown, I actually did relatively okay on the Clomid. The first crazy symptoms I had were maybe 3 or 4 days into it. I didn't *feel* crazy at the time, but in retrospect I could tell that I wasn't quite myself. Mostly I just had to exercise extreme self-control-- I was so very sensitive that if I hadn't kept a handle on it I probably would have picked some stupid fights (and I did, once).

Welcome to the crazy-train! Smile Were you expecting to start on Clomid, or is that a development I missed?

ETA: Oh, and the hot flashes started day 2 and were AWFUL for me.

I've been planning to go the medicated route.  Our insurance is great so clomid, trigger shot, and 60 days of progesterone were only $50.  So for us the medical route makes the most sense given timeline, cost of sperm, etc. My CD10 appt and follie check is Friday.  So far I just feel some twinges on the left side.

I just went back and saw her posts. I am surprised she remembered the name she used to have on the knot! What a cutie. She has been super sweet during this whole ttc process so far. I never expected her to be this excited about every little thing, but I love it!

I am feeling mostly okay. I have been having some odd twinges/cramping for the last 2 days, but not so much today. Yesterday I got up at my regular weekend time (7:30), and by 11:30 when we were at brunch I was so exhausted I was on the verge of tears. When we got back home I slept straight through from 12:30 to almost 5:00. Of course we are chalking it up to the travel, but it is hard not to wonder...
