As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. We are fully approved for the FHA loan!
The loan officer just called me to tell me. There are only a few contingent formalities that they need to make it final-final (front&back copies of the two deposit checks, picture of the handrail that the seller needs to put on the back steps and a couple of other minor things). We're probably not going to close on Friday, but there is a very slight chance we still could if we are able to get everything to him tomorrow, which I'm not counting on.
If we can't close on Friday, then I told everyone that we don't want to close until at least May 1st, so that our first mortgage payment won't be due until July 1st and then we can have the entire month of May to stay in our apartment while we paint and everything.
Yah!
