Re: Terrific and Troublesome Tuesday
totally not big in the scheme of life, but the fall rugby schedule is ALL f'd up b/c of league restructering none of the teams had a say in.
on the upside, I'm eating a brownie!
I'm sicker than a dog, and I don't know if it's allergies or what, but I feel like sh!t, yet I still have to go to work, oh the joys of being a contract employee.
upside we have a potluck at work today!
Troublesome - we're still working on our kitchen makeover. My body is so tired and achy. I know it's all worth it, but I just want my kitchen back so I can cook a real dinner.
Terrific - My state tax refund was direct deposited today! This means I can go buy a new dishwasher for my property
S's job (or the fact that prob by the end of the week lack of a job) is stressing me out. We are fine until Sept. but when I go on mat leave my check will be cut in half as they will be spreading 8 weeks of pay over 16 weeks. If S still is out of work then I will prob be cutting my leave back to the 8 weeks paid and S will be home with the baby for the other 8 weeks until we start daycare (or if no job in Jan she will be home). This is great because she will have some great bonding time and I have no problem leaving the baby with S but I will be sad if I miss out on some of our time together.
Umm, I am going to have a baby in September...who the hell cares how long my maternity leave will be!
Troublesome: i'm freaking out over my wisdom teeth removal for thursday. dreading it fully. And there are some big rumblings around work but my strategy is to keep my head in the sand.
Terrific: As of this saturday, foster prep is over! At that point, we'll just be waiting for a phone call.

I haven't been feeling 100% lately... Maybe it's my vertigo acting up but I've been really dizzy and light headed. It makes me feel like I'm going crazy, as if I'm doing things normal people wouldn't do.
My daughter blurted out in the car yesterday "Mama, I really, really love you!" It was sweet.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
Troublesome: My progesterone came back low. They called supplements in to the pharmacy and I started them last night, but I am still worried.
Terrific: I have an awesome wife. I never thought I wanted someone to protect me and take care of me, but it is really nice to have that right now.
IUI #3 gave us the best 2nd anniv. gift ever: 2 babies! (born 03/09/10)
Peanut and Little Man are getting so big! 2 years old already!
finally blogging again at This Will Be: An Adventure
Terrific: I started a great job about 3 weeks ago its permanent and fulltime with great benefits so Jay was able to take me off her insurance saving us about $200 per month.
Troublesome: Since I've gone back to work I've had no time to cook or clean laundry is piling up and the last home cooked meal we had was about 2 weeks ago.
Married my best friend 5*15*2008 Trying to start our family 8*2011

Troublesome: I forgot my umbrella today and got soaked before a meeting. Nothing says professional like squishy shoes.
Terrific: I watched City Council debate and vote for a marriage equality bill today. Sooo proud of my hometown right now. I'm also really excited about E's graduation this weekend. And I found a fabulous local anti-gentrification group to donate our bags of clothing and other spring cleaning crap to.
Terrific: My kids were so well mannered and polite tonight at dinner. The couple sitting next to us told us they were the most well behaved children they'd seen!
Troublesome: We were joking with our nanny about moving to NJ to be with her new boyfriend and she paused and said, "Yea. We were talking about that this week." WHAT???? Nothing is definitive, but the talk is on the table. We don't know what we'll do - full time preschool? another nanny? The thought of losing her (moreso the boys losing her - they adore her) makes me cry on the spot. She's been with us for almost 3 years and is a HUGE part of their (and our) lives.
