Update on SIL

I don't know every single detail, but I wanted to post a bit.  I know she went to a party with an ex bf on Sat night, and drank too much - staying overnight.  Then, she decided she hates where she goes to college (was leaving after the end of the year) and that she didn't want to go back.  She wanted to just run away from everything, so she went shopping for the entire day.  I got a call around 11:30 that she came home on her own last night. 

I am not even going to post my thoughts on this.

Ummm, so, was her cell broken or something? I'd be so ticked....unless of course, the more to the story was an important detail.

apparently, cell was not charged fully/was off.  she didn't call because she didn't want to go back to school.  i guess she is miserable there.  that being said, i don't agree with anything she did yesterday.  and no, there is no more "important" part of the story.

Wow. Just wow. That's incredibly selfish of her. I hope someday she realizes how much she worried everyone. Maybe when she grows up. Ugh. I'm so sorry.

I am so sorry about this Amanda....sounds like she needs a swift kick in the arse. She had a lot of people very, very worried. (including me!!)

I'm glad she is okay.  She must really hate school and be delaing with such inner turmoil to have pulled this on the family.  I hope she makes it through the last few weeks of the semester and doesn't worry you all again.

oh come on, she's got what, 3 weeks left in the semester??  she had better buck up and get through it...

someday she'll realize how selfish this was, but i hope if she needs emotional help she'll get it very soon...
