She's ENGAGED!!
My sister called about 45 minutes ago! I could hear her smiling 1300 miles away! I am so, so happy for her - I can't stop crying!
Her boyfriend - um, fiance - took her for a walk on the boardwalk after a wonderful dinner. As they were walking under the stars, he turned to her, got down on one knee, and proposed with the ring. She said that she was so shocked that she just burst into tears and just kept nodding "like a bobblehead doll" (her words, not mine!). They walked back to the hotel, giddy as can be, and he had champagne and strawberries and flowers waiting. So sweet! I am thrilled for her!!!
Let the planning begin!!!
