Redlands childbirth class and cpr classes

I have a two-parter.

I will be delivering mid-October at Redlands Community Hospital, and will be signing up for the childbirth class there. Has anyone gone through the class there, and can give me a basic idea of what goes on in the class? This is my first child.

Also, if I take a general CPR class, will they cover infant CPR as well?

Re: Redlands childbirth class and cpr classes

  • My SIL delivered there and DH's Godmother is one of Dr. Hage's NP's. I'll ask them tomorrow and let you know.
  • Congratulations on the pregnancy!

    ?

I had both my boys at RCH, but I did not take any of their classes. However, I did the hospital tour. I think you can call the number on the website & they should be able to answer your questions.

  • I asked SIL about the classes and she said the class was worth taking. She didn't elaborate about what goes on. The adult CPR, she said, also covers infants.
  • I took the tour, but went to Bradley classes instead. ?Glad I did. ?I was the only person in the group asking questions! ?

    ?

I highly recommend RCH for labor and delivery - they are all fabulous there. ?I'd just take classes outside of the hospital for a different view on childbirth. ?It gave me the opportunity to think a bit more critically when it came to what I wanted.?

    That's my OB:)

Thank you everyone for the responses... I ended up helping out at a florist for Mother's Day, and haven't had a lot of time for a few days to check this thread.
