1. Do you cut or save coupons?
2. If so, what do you use to store and organize them?
Re: POLL: Coupons
1. Yes
2. I used to use one of those coupon organizers but I find that I stop on the way home from work too many times that I would have to keep it with me all the time to be really helpful plus it ripped apart or I didn't clean out the expired coupons regularly enough.
I'm curious to see what works well for everyone else. My most recent idea was to get a small envelope and label the outside for the different months of the year then put the coupons in by month of expiration. I haven't tried my idea yet though!!
1. Do you cut or save coupons? Yes, definitely. We get the newspaper just for the coupons.
2. If so, what do you use to store and organize them? We use a folder system that closes so we can take it with it. It has different folders that we use for different areas, like restaurants in one, toiletries and things we buy at BJs and Target in another, groceries organized in another, etc.
1. Do you cut or save coupons? yes
2. If so, what do you use to store and organize them? MIL made me a coupon organizer and I have them divided by categories in there
1. Do you cut or save coupons? Yes!
2. If so, what do you use to store and organize them? I use a coupon organizer that I broke down into categories the way the store I shop most often is set up. I go through it once a week (on Sundays) once I cut the coupons from that weekends' paper. I weed out the expired coupons then or take note of any that I need to use ASAP before they expire. I don't do a whole lot of last minute shopping so I'm usually able to grab my coupon book before heading to the store...I also have a pretty good memory when it comes to coupons, so I remember that it may be worth it to make a quick pit stop at home before shopping if I don't have my book with me.
1. Yes
2. I use a purple coupon organizer divided into to categories (Meat & bread, fruits & veggies, etc...). I seriously need to reorganize my way of doing this though...without becoming one of those crazy ladies at the grocery store with the giant binder of coupons (which unfortunately, seems like a great option). When we are going to the store, we make a list and I pull the coupons out for the items on the list. I still take the rest of the coupons with us because I might have a coupon for something on sale that's not on the list but will end up being a really good deal. As far as restaurant coupons those go in an envelope on the fridge and for other coupons (at "mall" stores) they go right in my wallet.
1. yes, I learned from the pro (dad)
2. I have a blue plastic envelope in my purse, and I keep all of them in there. each week when I make out my grocery list (on a spreadsheet of course cause that's how I roll) I check out what coupons/gift cards/etc I want to use that week and attach them to the grocery list so wherever I am I know what I have.

1. Yes, but I have issues with remembering to bring them with me and losing them.
2. I just recently started putting them in a specific drawer in our kitchen. We'll see how it goes.
1. Yes
2. I use 2 coupon organizers with categories I created. One is for food and the other is for non-food items (cleaning, paper, pet, toiletries, etc). I have a folder I keep in the kitchen. One side has take out menus and the other side has restaurant coupons. I have a cute box on the bookshelf where I keep that week's sales flyers. I also keep store specific coupons in there, so I grab them before I hear to that store (BRU, BBB, etc). I organize everything and toss expired coupons every Sunday when I cut that week's coupons and make the meal plan.
1. Yes
2. I have a coupon organizer with little pockets for different categories.
I love seeing how much we would have paid vs. what we did pay. I wish there were more coupons for non-processsed foods. The only time I buy processed treats (mmm....chicken buffalo nuggets) is when I have a coupon.
Funny you mention this because I was just thinking of this today when I got an email from Giant. Note to self definitely need to start printing out those coupons!!
I love coupons! The main reason we get the Sunday paper. I save them in an envelope and when I put them in there I sort them by store and then aisle (if I can remember) and then pull them to the front as I put the coupon-ed product in my cart so I am ready for the checkout. Very low tech and cheap but it works for me!
