AJ (dyson?)

I was debating about starting another dyson thread, but I have a question Mrs AJ...(or who ever else wants to chime in) I went and looked at them hands on yesterday at BB&B... I think H and I have decided to just get the big one (not animal, just reg. size ball-DC25) cuz if we're gonna spend the $$ might as well get the better one and I wouldn't be completely happy with the small one.

Okay first question, the ball looked really dirty in the store, was that just cuz it's a floor model and a lot of people probably roll it on the dirty floor? Or is it something you have to clean?

Second question, what attachments does it come with? The guy in the store only showed me 2 and said there are no more, but in a pamplet I saw a few more.

okay I think that's all... for now Stick out tongue

Re: AJ (dyson?)

  • 1. I noticed my ball was a little "dusty" looking today.  I wiped it with a Clorox wipe (yes I am that crazy) all better.  The one in the store will always be worse.  HA HA.  Although I think MOST vacuums get icky, but a lot of people don't notice because they aren't BRIGHT.  I have a cheep yellow vacuum that I was always cleaning off.  It's just more noticeable.

    2. There are three attachments.  A. the normal little stick thingy which I call my basebords best friend.  B. That has the brush that slides on it so that counts as one too I guess.  c. The lint looking suction thing.

So far so good for me.  I can do what I need with thouse and I feel like they attach to it better so no chance of me loosing it.  You may be able to order more?  LORD I'm in trouble if so!

  • Oh I remember my other ? - the kick stand thing was kinda hard to use in the store, but that could have also been cuz it's the store model and a little worn down?
  • I wont lie my first go around with it I was like WTF?  It's just so different than others it makes it kinda confusing, but once you use it a few time you'll get the hang of it real quick.

Same thing with the handle/hose.  The first time you'll be like OKAY I press what and do what?  Then a few times afterwords you'll be a pro!

  • sweet i'm so excited! our house is so dusty it'll be nice to actually have a vaccum that works... too bad our evenings are pretty much booked until Friday, but I'll have a lifetime of getting to use it (well ya know, however long it lasts - at least 5 years) Big Smile
