1 did you have a party - DD doesn't turn 1 until September, but we will have a party. We'll most likely have it when she's actually turning 11 months since DH has a lot of family from out of state come visit in August. It would be fun to have them all there for the party.
2. how many people did you invite - It'll probably be ~50 people...just close family and friends.
3. what did you have - I imagine we'll do a BBQ.
4. did you do a theme - I don't know about a theme...haven't given it that much thought yet.
5 if so how many - How many themes? I think I'd stick to just one.
6 did you have alcohol there - Oh yes, there will be alcohol. Probably just beer and wine, though, maybe rum and Cokes.

3. what did you have Party at our house, caricature artist set up in the playroom along with video games, etc, etc, to entertain the kids there. We had it catered because there were so many people.

We're in the middle of planning now....

2. how many people did you invite - just extended family will be about 60 people invited. I expect about 40. DS and his cousin are the only children.
3. what did you have - we're working on the menu now. DH owns his own catering business, so this won't exactly be a "standard" first birthday. Current menu includes salmon, lamb chops, mussels in white wine, cheese selection & cake. Signature drink will be Pellegrino b/c DS loves it.
4. did you do a theme -- in light of #3 and the adventurous little palate that we're celebrating, the theme will be "Henry's Gourmet Birthday"
