Sweet Sixteens
So my niece is turning 16 this summer and I offered to treat her to a photoshoot. They wont be the traditional Quince pictures (remember those?) she likes the whole photojournalistic style so i thought it would be nice to at least take some pics with a sweet sixteen gown, keeping a little tradition in there! Does anyone know where I can rent a quinces/sweet 16 gown?

Zayas fashion in Hialeah. I know what you are thinking.....Hialeah? But yes, Hialeah. They have beautiful gowns there. I believe you can buy and rent.
Oh and ps....if you are looking for a photographer my wedding photog www.ifstudios.net is doing a whole spin on quinceaneras called "The sweet life." He is doing some amazing stuff. Its on his blog if you want to take a look at the photos. Highly reccomend.
i was looking into Zayas but i didnt see quinces dresses on their site... girl im a Hialeah girl i aint got no problem with the HIA hehehe

As for color, its up to my niece, i would like for her to stay away from whites since i always felt whites should be left for communion and wedding dresses. My quince dress was a soft pink. But its up to her!
