Partners in Women's Healthcare/Dr. Kareem

I started going to Dr. Kareem on the recommendation of this board. Now, I go to make my yearly appt, and it seems like she has moved to a new practice in Hunter's Creek. Can anyone tell me if this is true?

Hunter's Creek is a bit far for me. Has anyone ever been to Dr. White or Dr. Brown? (lol at the colors) Any good or bad words about either? They still deliver at Winnie, right?

Dr. Brown is my regular doc there but  I have seen all the docs in that practice thanks to having babies and they were all great.  I don't know the story on Dr. Kareem...just know that she isn't there anymore.  It's too bad because I really liked her.

If I had a preference over Brown or White I would say Dr. Brown.  Dr. White was nice but a little "brash" for me.  And yes they still deliver at Winnie!

The cetner that does my mammography confirmed that Dr. Kareem is at a practice in Hunters Creek.  I'm in the same boat, I loved her, but won't go to Hunters Creek.  I have seen Dr. Fu and Dr. White, and even though Dr. Kareem was my doctor throughout my pregnancy, Dr. White was on call and delivered Delaney.  I do like Dr. White as well.  I wish they hadn't moved the practice to over on Corrine also. I live in CP and it was so convenient to go to their old location.

Yes she is in Hunter's Ceek.  At The Women's Center with Dr. Gearity.  I like Dr. Brown, however I despise Dr. White.  When going through my miscarriage last year she was a heartless . . . I'll let you figure out the rest.  Her bedside manner is TERRIBLE!    HTH

I'm really starting to wonder if I should just go to Hunter's Creek. How often do you have to go to them when you're pg? In your experience?

Ugh - I'm mourning. LOL

I liked Dr. White.  She was really great.  Dr. Kareem was my original dr but I started seeing Dr White alot at the end of my pregnancy and she was the one that I started with when I had my son.  Dr. Abredescue (sp) ended up doing my c/s and I ended up really liking him.  Now I just see him.  I heard that he was the chairman for the American board of Ob or something like that and he made the highest score possible on the test that they have to take.  I saw all the Drs at their office but I liked Kareem, White and Abredescue the best.

You see them once a month for the first 32 weeks, then usually every 2 weeks for 4 weeks, and from 36 weeks on you see them once a week.  To me its worth the drive.  But then again I drive 45 minutes to my daughters pedi just because I love him so much.  To me good doctors are worth the extra time to drive. PS - In Dr. Kareems new office they do everything there, ultrasounds/bloodwork... its great!  And then even have a spa next store that is linked to the doctors office.  It's really a wonderful office!

Thanks for all the information, ladies! It's so hard to find someone you're confortable with in this case. It's so personal!
