I've been doing consumer research studies with JRA, located in Mt. Laurel, for about 2 years now and they're great--it's not a scam.  You get an email/call about a certain study and they ask you questions to see if you qualify.  If you qualify they tell you what times are available and what days and you go into their office for a certain amount of time/days and you get paid cash.

I've done studies for ice cream, blueberry muffins, A/C units, ketchup/BBQ sauce, pasta sauces, and we're doing one right now for a his/her pleasure condom, which is an in-home study (obviously).  It can't hurt to sign up.  The only thing is that it's one per household, so you and H can't do them together unless it's for couples.
