looking for a orthopedic dr.

I think it is time to check out a bum knee that I have.  Can anyone recommend a good orthopedic practice/doctor? TIA

Re: looking for a orthopedic dr.

  • My DH fractured his ankle a few months ago and went to Dr. Sandra Tomak in New Haven.  She also has an office in Madison.  She's affiliated with St. Raphael's Hospital.
  • Danbury Orthopedic....Dr. Brand fixed both of my knees (Left knee almost 14 years afo and my right knee a year ago).
  • Another vote for Danbury Ortho & Dr Brand. He did both of DH's knees. Many other family members have used them as well with great results.

  • I work for a group called Comprehensive Orthopaedics. They have offices in Meriden, Wallingford, Southington, and Cheshire and are associated with Midstate Hospital. I'm a physical therapist so you might get referred to me afterwards! Dr. Driscoll is my favorite. He's super nice.
