How long does kickoff last and what happens? I really want to go, but we are driving up to LA area that day for a birthday and H wants to leave early. I don't want to miss kickoff. TIA!

I think it was an hour or two. They put you in an auditorium, you watch a video and hear some inspirational stuff and then they broke us up into groups (my season was structured differently than this one).?
I think it's worth going to. ?

I thought there was a restaurant one or something I missed and that was the kick off.
