Outlet shopping?

Where are some good outlets out here? I'd love to go to Camarillo, but it's so far away. Anything good closer?

there's a decent one in san diego, but the name escapes me now.

cabazon on the way to palm springs is probably the largest around here.

oh, and a weemo tip.  i think you can sign up online for both of the above and camarillo's VIP programs, which send you coupons and stuff.

Cabazon/Desert premium is good but I wouldn't rec going on a holiday weekend.

we just went to camarillo this weekend. i think it's worth the drive, but maybe that's because we really wanted the scenic route along the coast.  and i don't think there's a betsey johnson outlet in cabazon, which was what we were really going for.

I think there are outlets in Ontario too. But that may be as far as Camarillo (no idea where that is). The Carlsbad outlets are just 'eh' in my opinion.

ontario mills is much closer than camarillo but almost as eh as the block in orange, which i forgot is technically an outlet mall, too.

I second Ontario Mills sucking. That place sucked the day they opened it. So sad considering the possibilities.

Also, avoid the outlets in Lake Elsinore. Not good at all.

Carlsbad  = Meh, but you won't have to travel far.

Camarillo = I wasn't impressed at all.

  Cabazon - It's my favorite hands down.

I didn't realize Ontario Mills was an outlet mall.  I've only been there a couple of times when I was a teenager. 

I go to the Citidel every once in a while because of Vans.  It's the closest outlet with a good selection.
