I need a good mechanic- and one who's reasonable. I have a catalytic converter in my Nissan needing to be fixed. The mechanic I took my car to was going to charge me $833 for the converter and labor. That doesn't include new O2 censors or any diagnostic testing. He also told me that the part was not available after market. However, I have found out by calling parts stores that the guy flat out lied to me. I'm not happy.
My car's a 2001 Sentra and in excellent shape minus this emmissions ordeal. Can anyone help find me a good, reputable mechanic?
