TGIF!!! weekend plans
So what does everyone have planned for this weekend?
Tonight J and I are going grocery shopping. Tomorrow we will probably spend the day doing laundry and some cleaning around the house, and in the evening we?re going to an outdoor symphony that J?s job is hosting. We don?t have anything planned for Sunday yet but I want to try cooking and freezing a few meals for next week. So all in all we don?t have anything too exciting planned but I?m still thankful my weekend will start in less than 8 hours YAY!!!

Re: TGIF!!! weekend plans
Tonight L and the boys are getting haircuts. Perhaps we'll go out to dinner.
Tomorrow morning we are heading to Lancaster, PA. We'll hang out in the early afternoon and then go to Dutch Wonderland from 3-6. Who knows what we'll do in the evening.
Sunday we'll go back to Dutch Wonderland from 10-1 and then drive home while the kids nap. When we get home we'll need to clean and start making lists of what we need to do before their b-day party next weekend and my ILs impending arrival.
Tonight I'm going to a "debrief" happy hour with some school collegues after a symposium on campus. Then I'm coming home to load up the car to head to Bellingham (about 90 minutes North, near the Canadian border). We'll stay at my Nana's house and spend the weekend with my mom, Nana and Katie. There's a Sonic that opened nearby and C wants to go. We're also going shoe hunting for her. Sunday we'll have brunch and then head home in the afternoon.
Saturday - I'm going to try and get knocked-up!
Sunday - Maybe go to a local festival for some funnelcake/fried dough :-)
We need to finish up Mother's Day stuff and then figure out how to fit in 3 different brunch/lunch/BBQ's with both girls in tow. I wish everyone would just come here.
S wants me to get out of the house tonight so we may brave an outing of some sort.

i think we're going to the container store tonight to try and figure out what we're doing in our closet. they have a big sale on the stuff that goes through sunday, so we want to try to get it done this weekend if we are going to buy from there. i'm not sure if there's anything else on the agenda.
tomorrow we'll be working in the bathroom. it's highly likely that by the end of the weekend we'll be done with the sinks and shower. once that happens we'll have trim (baseboards, etc), getting the doors up, and the stuff for the closet left to do--but we'll have a fully functional bathroom.
sunday we're going to try to get together with our moms (and dads). we're trying to decide what to do since trying to go out will be crazy that day. we talked about just grilling lunch out and having them over, but our house is a little bit of a mess at the moment so we'll see.
Tonight - Go swimsuit shopping and RELAX!
Saturday - Drive to La Jolla and go to Shell Beach and Children's Pool to see the tide pools and sea lions.
Sunday - Have Mother's Day dinner at my IL's house.
Two Mommies Healing Hearts
Today after work I'm going shopping here in the city because C has her first softball practice. She just joined a team through someone at work. I plan on camping out on the couch and catchin up on dvr'd Ellen while I wait for her to get home
Tomorrow we are both getting haircuts and we need to go grocery shopping. The rest of the day is open, so we'll probably go out for lunch or dinner. Oh, and we need to do some cleaning/laundry at home...
Sunday we are supposed to be taking my mom out for lunch, and then visiting with my stepmom and grandmother.
At some point I need cards for stepmom and grandma and will probably get flowers for all the moms. I may skip cooking this weekend and just plan to use up some back-stock in the freezer for the coming week... we'll see.

Saturday I work all day, then we'll drive to my brother and SILs to spend the night at their new house!
Sunday we'll wake at the asscrack of dawn and get to the airport by 5:30 then fly to sunny Florida! Yay
Tonight I'm having some alone time, going to see a play and do some shopping.
Saturday is E's graduation. Yippee! Saturday evening we're going to a Roller Derby bout with some friends and their beautiful new baby.
Sunday E's making breakfast for her mom and we're taking her mom and stepdad to visit our community garden.

Tonight I am home alone with the dogs so I think I will be doing some laundry and cleaning the kitchen.
Tomorrow is going to be spent looking for a mom's day gift for Carols mom and then working on the house more. I am trying to get everything ready for whoever has to come in and take care of the dogs when I am in the hospital.
Sunday is an early dinner with Carols mom and our aunts then we have tickets to see the B-52's. Maybe we can get Annie to dance herself out.

I'm home from work already, YAY! I went in early this morning so I could knock off at 2:00 and come home and spend some time with the dogs, since we're going to be out all evening. We're trying to be better dog-mommies and take the crazy/active younger one on lots of walks. (Older one hates outside and walks, so we leave her settled with her blankie on the couch.) I'm doing some laundry and then taking the little one on a walk to the dog store and the vet. We're meeting friends at 7:30 to have dinner and see the new Star Trek movie at an IMAX theater. Should be lots of fun.?
Tomorrow I'm teaching divorce clinic from 10-12, then heading to the Library of Congress to do some research about my hometown. My mom, sister and I are trying to figure out a puzzle that is related to our hometown's annual River Festival. They publish new clues in the paper everyday and we've all been sleuthing. Then I'm meeting Jen at the gym for our first yoga class. We keep meaning to go but with training for races, etc. it always falls by the wayside. I'm not running for two weeks to give my sore feet a chance to heal, so this is the perfect time. No plans yet for Saturday evening or Sunday, probably just relaxing at home. Her mom lives 1,000 miles away and my mom lives 3,000 miles away, so we'll just be calling them. (I sent my gift last week, and I'm seeing my mom in a few weeks when I fly out for my sister's graduation.)?
