Mom's Day Plans?

We are taking my mom to ride the Forest Park train in FW, then going to picnic at the Botanical Gardens. I hope the weather is nice! We always go out to brunch, so I thought this would be a fun alternative.

We are going to dinner tonight with the in-laws. My mom doesn't live in town so she'll get a phone call...and I really need to put her card in the mail today (oops).

Ack! I have no idea. My family changed plans (for a good reason) for our normal Mother's Day/celebrate my grandmother's birthday (which was yesterday) and I now have NO idea what to do. So, I'm eager to hear other ideas.

Restaurants can get so crowded that day. We could take MIL, if she's feeling up to it (she got out of the hospital on Tuesday with pnuemonia), to it dinner, but I don't know what to do for my mom. We are going to lunch tomorrow with my aunts for one aunt's birthday, so I could just buy her lunch then, but that doesn't feel special.

Ugh, I'm just at a loss.

This year everyone is getting cards.  Last year we gave out $50 GC to Wayside Gardens so they could each pick out something nice for their garden that would grow well for their particular Zone.

Jared is getting dedicated @ church, then we're going to brunch @ the Blue Goose.  I wanted to go to Blue Mesa, but I think the wait will be too much for my dad to handle.

We are going to 7 Salsa's to celebrate Mother's day and my brother's birthday.  I can't wait, love their brunch.

No plans this year. Just a card mailed to my mom, and a phone call. DH did tell me happy mother's day this year and that he can't wait for our daughter to get here, which is such a crazy concept! We just hung out together today, cooked dinner together, and mowed the lawn together (yes- it took 2 of us b/c we had to use this dumb Japanese electric plug in mower that took forever to use!)?
