I actually got pregnant on my first cycle and miscarried. This pregnancy was on our second cycle. I know I was extremely lucky to manage to get pregnant both tries.
I did use injectables with both cycles. ( follistim with an HCG trigger and and an HCG booster four days after insem) I also did progersterone with the 2nd one. We did back to back IUI's both times.

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I've never heard of the hcg booster shot, perhaps I'll try to read up on that.
